How Costframe is built
These engineering principles describe the product and its boundaries. Costframe holds no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification.
- Read access only
- Standard Azure setup uses Reader and Cost Management Reader roles. Provider clients do not create, resize or delete customer resources; the owning team implements changes in its own process.
- Separate financial bases
- Provider ActualCost is already net billed cost. Supported catalog and configured-discount context stays separate from customer-net estimates, and the provider bill is not discounted again.
- A shared review
- Engineering inspects resource evidence, sizing assumptions and implementation requirements. Finance reviews native-currency totals and authorized CSV. General audit PDF is unavailable during the controlled launch.
- Scope-specific availability
- Azure is generally available. AWS is a private pilot and Google Cloud a private preview. Collection gaps, permissions, freshness and provider limits stay part of each case.
