Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Costframe account or utilizing our read-only cloud cost optimization platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the platform.

2. Service Scope & Responsibility

Costframe provides read-only cloud cost analysis and related reporting for connected cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. We process and analyze cloud provider billing files, utilization records, and configuration footprints to identify inefficiencies and suggest remediation actions.

Any cost estimates or projected savings are recommendations, not financial guarantees. You are solely responsible for verifying and implementing any optimization changes, such as resizing instances, changing commitments, deleting unused resources, or changing database tiers.

3. Authorization & Billing Scopes

To deliver our auditing service, you must authorize Costframe to access your cloud platforms. You agree to grant us strictly read-only authorization using least-privilege provider roles.

You agree not to configure or grant write, edit, delete, owner, contributor, or management permissions to Costframe. Costframe is structurally engineered as a read-only analyzer and does not call mutating cloud APIs.

4. Account Credentials & Security

You must provide accurate account information during Clerk-managed onboarding. You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account session credentials and for all operations that occur within your Costframe organization workspace.

Your connected cloud secrets are securely stored using AES-256-GCM encryption and are never displayed back in the UI after initialization.

5. Acceptable Use & Customer Content

You must not use Costframe to violate law, probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or process data you are not authorized to provide. You retain ownership of customer data and grant Costframe the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and display that data to provide the service.

6. Intellectual Property

Costframe and its software, design, documentation, detectors, and service content are owned by Slingo Marbella SL or its licensors. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the applicable subscription; they do not transfer ownership of Costframe intellectual property.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slingo Marbella SL, operating the Costframe product, will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of cloud credits, downtime, deployment errors, data loss, or operational interruptions arising out of your use or inability to use the platform.

8. Plans, Billing, Suspension & Termination

Paid plans, billing cycles, renewals, taxes, invoices, and payment methods are managed through Stripe unless a separate written order form says otherwise. We may suspend access for non-payment, security risk, abuse, or unlawful use.

Either party may terminate as permitted by the applicable plan or written order form. On termination, access ends and customer data is handled under the Privacy Policy and DPA, subject to legal, security, billing, backup, and audit-retention requirements. Terms that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.

9. Governing Terms & Modifications

A signed order form or separately executed agreement controls where it conflicts with these online terms. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Spain and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Málaga, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Costframe may update these terms by publishing a revised version and effective date; material changes will apply as required by law and the applicable agreement.
