Payments through Stripe, Azure access read-only, credentials deleted when you remove a connection. The terms below are the whole story.
Subscriptions, upgrades, and billing cycles run through Stripe. Costframe does not handle or store card details or bank logins. Invoices arrive each billing cycle.
Costframe connects with Reader and Cost Management Reader roles. No write privileges exist in the codebase, on any plan, at any price.
Update or cancel your subscription from account settings at any time. Deleting an Azure connection removes its credentials from our storage.
Frequently asked billing questions
What is the Free Trial?
A one-time scan that runs during onboarding. It connects through a read-only credential, calculates total estimated monthly savings, and shows your top 3 findings in full. The remaining findings stay locked until you choose a paid plan.
How are subscription limits enforced?
A connection is defined as a single connected cloud platform. The Starter plan enforces up to 2 active cloud platform connections. The Growth plan supports up to 5 connected cloud platform connections.
Do you take any percentage commission on our savings?
No. Costframe bills a flat subscription, monthly or annual. You keep every euro you reclaim. A tool that takes a cut of savings has an incentive to inflate them, so we priced that incentive out.
Is write access required?
No. Costframe requests Reader and Cost Management Reader scopes only. No write client is imported in our Azure packages, so modifying, deleting, or provisioning resources is mechanically impossible.
Is Costframe SOC2 or ISO compliant?
Costframe is designed around SOC 2 and ISO 27001-aligned controls, including tenant isolation, read-only cloud access, audit logging, secret redaction, and least-privilege access patterns. Formal certification status and audit reports should be confirmed during procurement.
Do you offer committed support SLAs?
Enterprise customers can agree support targets and operational response terms in their order form or MSA. Public uptime metrics and contractual SLAs should only be shown once formal monitoring and legal terms are in place.
Are there user seat or team licensing limits?
No. Cloud cost management is a team sport. All Costframe subscriptions support unlimited user seats. You can invite your entire engineering team, finance analysts, and leadership stakeholders with no extra per-seat fees.
Can we execute custom Master Services Agreements (MSAs)?
Yes. For our Enterprise tier customers, we support custom MSAs, custom SLA terms, formal security questionnaires (such as Sig Lite or CAIQ), and dedicated legal compliance reviews to align with corporate procurement requirements.
How is billing managed?
Payments, invoicing, and plan changes run through Stripe. Subscribe monthly or annually and manage billing from your account settings. Costframe never sees your card details.
How does Costframe maintain data isolation?
Every database record and API request is scoped strictly to your Clerk organization ID, verified cryptographically. Deny-by-default Row-Level Security (RLS) guarantees complete data isolation between accounts.
Can't I just use ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot to find these savings?
You can get a rough one-off estimate that way, but not a number finance will sign off on. A general AI assistant prices against Azure list rates rather than your negotiated net rate, has no verified utilization data behind its claims, and would need ongoing access to your production tenant to stay current. Costframe attaches the resource ID, utilization history, and price math to every finding, prices at your net rate, and reconciles realized savings against the actual invoice.
